Introduction
We are seeking a reliable Pengemudi Operasional Armada Kendaraan to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role you will be the critical link between our central bakery production facility and its numerous retail outlets, ensuring that fresh baked goods arrive on time, in perfect condition, and in compliance with all delivery documentation. The position demands a disciplined, safety‑conscious driver who can handle a variety of vehicle types, work flexible hours—including holidays—and contribute to the overall efficiency of our distribution network.
Responsibilities
- Transport bakery products from the main production plant to designated branches or outlets according to a strict delivery schedule.
- Verify that each shipment matches its accompanying surat jalan, confirming quantity, product type, and destination.
- Conduct thorough pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections, checking fluid levels, tire pressure, brakes, and overall cleanliness.
- Assist with loading and unloading of goods, securing cargo to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain the cleanliness and operational readiness of the vehicle, performing routine minor maintenance such as oil changes and windshield cleaning.
- Provide support for emergency or unscheduled deliveries, including weekend and national holiday assignments.
- Communicate any delays, vehicle issues, or route challenges promptly to the logistics coordinator.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies, promoting a culture of road safety and professionalism.
Requirements
- Male candidates aged 25‑45 years.
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Active SIM A license (SIM B is a valuable plus).
- At least 1 year of proven experience as an operational or distribution driver, preferably in the food‑service industry.
- Strong knowledge of map reading, route planning, and traffic safety regulations.
- Demonstrated discipline, punctuality, honesty, and a high level of personal responsibility.
- Physically and mentally fit to handle long driving hours and occasional manual handling of cargo.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, to meet operational demands.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer‑service mindset when interacting with outlet staff.
