Introduction

The Retail Specification Specialist plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between product development and end‑user adoption within a fast‑growing retail solutions company. Based in Indonesia, the team focuses on delivering hands‑on product demonstrations, mock‑ups, and trial installations to workshops and project sites. This position is ideal for a proactive, male candidate under 35 years of age who possesses a high school diploma (SMA/SMK) and at least one year of retail sales experience. The specialist will work closely with the Sales Team to drive “sell‑in” targets, gather market intelligence, and support continuous professional development.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct product trials, demonstrations, and mock‑up installations at workshops and project locations to showcase functionality and value.
  • Present and pitch the company’s product portfolio to decision‑makers, aiming to secure purchase agreements and increase sell‑in volume.
  • Collaborate closely with the Sales Team to develop joint strategies, share leads, and achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Collect and report competitive activity, pricing trends, and market conditions to senior leadership for strategic analysis.
  • Participate in internal training programs, workshops, and skill‑enhancement courses to continuously improve technical knowledge and sales techniques.
  • Maintain accurate records of demo outcomes, customer feedback, and follow‑up actions in the CRM system.
  • Ensure all trial equipment is set up safely, complies with company standards, and is returned or accounted for after each engagement.

Requirements

  • Education: Minimum SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • Age: 34 years maximum.
  • Gender: Male.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of proven retail sales experience, preferably with a focus on product demonstration or field sales.
  • Driving Ability: Own motor vehicle and a valid SIM C license.
  • Core Skills: Strong communication and negotiation abilities, customer‑oriented mindset, and the capacity to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Soft Skills: Problem‑solving, adaptability, time‑management, and a results‑driven attitude.
  • Work Schedule: Full‑time, Monday‑Friday, 08:00 – 17:00 (exact days to be confirmed).
