Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Planner Engineering to join our fast‑growing operations in Makassar. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our plant’s engineering and maintenance functions run smoothly by managing critical master data, implementing Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), and coordinating cross‑departmental projects. The ideal candidate is a detail‑oriented technical professional with at least one year of hands‑on experience in engineering planning, strong analytical abilities, and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Collect, validate, and maintain all master data sets, including functional locations, bills of material, and preventive & predictive maintenance task lists.
- Lead the end‑to‑end implementation of CMMS platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Maximo) across the plant, configuring each engineering module to match operational needs.
- Develop and update standard operating procedures for maintenance planning, ensuring alignment with corporate safety and quality standards.
- Coordinate with the Maintenance, Production, and Project Engineering teams to schedule work orders, track progress, and close out tasks efficiently.
- Produce regular performance dashboards that highlight equipment reliability, mean time between failures (MTBF), and overall maintenance effectiveness.
- Provide administrative support for engineering projects, including documentation control, change‑order tracking, and budget monitoring.
- Facilitate communication between internal stakeholders and external vendors, ensuring that technical specifications and timelines are clearly understood.
- Utilize Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis, trend identification, and reporting to senior management.
- Assist in the creation of technical drawings and 3‑D models using tools such as SketchUp or Autodesk Inventor when required.
- Continuously seek process improvement opportunities, proposing automation or workflow enhancements to reduce downtime and increase plant reliability.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Diploma (D3) or higher (D4) in Engineering, Maintenance Management, or a related field.
- Age: 28 years old or younger.
- Gender: Male (as per local hiring policy).
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in engineering planning, maintenance scheduling, or CMMS administration.
- Solid understanding of maintenance process flows, including preventive, predictive, and corrective strategies.
- Proficiency in data manipulation using Microsoft Excel or Google Spreadsheet (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, basic macros).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to collaborate with multi‑disciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with CMMS concepts; experience with SAP, Oracle, or similar systems is a distinct advantage.
- Basic knowledge of technical drawing software (SketchUp, Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD) considered a plus.
- Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule; the plant operates Monday through Sunday with shift details to be communicated.
