Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Security Officer to join our team in Purwokerto. This full‑time position offers a stable work schedule from Monday to Friday, 08:00‑17:00, and is ideal for individuals who are physically fit, detail‑oriented, and committed to maintaining a safe environment for employees, visitors, and assets. The role serves as the frontline of our security operations, providing a visible deterrent against unauthorized access, theft, vandalism, and other potential threats. Candidates will be expected to act with professionalism, uphold the highest ethical standards, and represent our company’s reputation for reliability and trustworthiness.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises, both on foot and by vehicle, to detect and prevent security breaches.
- Monitor entry points, verify identification, and manage access control systems such as key cards, turnstiles, and visitor logs.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, coordinating with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
- Prepare detailed incident reports, maintain accurate daily logs, and document any irregularities for management review.
- Enforce company policies regarding dress code, prohibited items, and behavior of staff and visitors.
- Provide assistance during fire drills, evacuation procedures, and other safety drills to ensure smooth execution.
- Conduct random security checks of bags, vehicles, and equipment while respecting privacy regulations.
- Maintain and inspect security equipment (e.g., CCTV cameras, radios, flashlights) to ensure operational readiness.
- Offer courteous customer service, answering inquiries and guiding guests safely through the facility.
- Participate in ongoing training programs to stay updated on the latest security best practices and legal requirements.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: Up to 35 years old.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Certification: Valid Gada Pratama security license and active KTA (Kartu Tanda Anggota) membership.
- Physical standards: Minimum height of 170 cm; no visible tattoos or body piercings.
- Residency: Must reside in Purwokerto or surrounding areas.
- Experience: No prior experience required; fresh graduates are welcome.
- Key skills: Strong observation, excellent communication, ability to work independently and as part of a team, basic first‑aid knowledge, and a calm demeanor under pressure.
