In this role, you will be the frontline ambassador of Shopee’s Paylater service, helping consumers understand the benefits of buying now and paying later, and driving adoption across key retail locations in the Greater Jakarta area and surrounding districts. Responsibilities
- Approach potential customers in malls, convenience stores, and partner outlets to introduce the Shopee Paylater product.
- Provide clear, concise information about how Paylater works, eligibility criteria, repayment options, and associated benefits.
- Persuade shoppers to select Paylater as their preferred payment method for in‑store transactions, highlighting convenience and financial flexibility.
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor while building lasting relationships with customers, ensuring repeat usage and referrals.
- Track daily interactions, collect feedback, and report performance metrics to the regional sales manager.
- Collaborate with store staff and local merchants to set up promotional displays and ensure the Paylater branding is visible and engaging.
- Stay up‑to‑date with product updates, promotional campaigns, and compliance guidelines to provide accurate information at all times.
- Assist customers with basic troubleshooting or direct them to the appropriate support channels for more complex issues.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA), vocational school (SMK), or equivalent.
- Age: Up to 35 years old.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- At least 1 year of proven experience in sales, retail promotion, or direct customer engagement.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to explain financial products in simple terms.
- Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, and comfortable working independently in the field.
- Basic proficiency with smartphones and sales‑tracking tools.
- Flexibility to work on a schedule that includes Tuesdays through Sundays, 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM.
- Willingness to be assigned to locations that match the candidate’s domicile, covering South Jakarta, North Jakarta, Central Jakarta, Bekasi, Karawang, and Purwakarta.
