Introduction

We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Purchasing Specialist to join our dynamic procurement team. This role, titled Purchasing – Manajemen Pengadaan Barang, is responsible for managing the end‑to‑end acquisition of goods and services that support our operational excellence. The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure timely delivery, cost efficiency, and compliance with company policies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and issue Purchase Orders (PO) in accordance with approved budgets and specifications.
  • Maintain and update the inventory management system, ensuring accurate stock levels and timely replenishment.
  • Conduct vendor selection, evaluation, and negotiation to secure optimal terms, pricing, and service levels.
  • Coordinate with the finance department to reconcile invoices, resolve discrepancies, and process payments.
  • Prepare regular purchasing reports, including spend analysis, cost‑saving initiatives, and forecasted demand.
  • Monitor supplier performance, address any issues, and implement corrective actions when needed.
  • Collaborate with production, logistics, and quality teams to understand material requirements and lead times.
  • Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies, legal regulations, and ethical standards.
  • Manage multiple procurement projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel and specialized inventory software to track orders, analyze data, and improve processes.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • At least 2‑4 years of proven experience in purchasing or procurement.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a reputation for honesty and accuracy.
  • Solid understanding of purchasing cycles, vendor management, and administrative procedures.
  • Proficiency in creating purchase orders, generating purchasing reports, and maintaining documentation.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet strict deadlines, and handle multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and familiarity with inventory management systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; professional demeanor when interacting with suppliers and internal teams.
