Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Remedial Officer (Collection) to join our dynamic team in Samarinda, Kalimantan. This role is pivotal in ensuring the timely recovery of overdue accounts receivable (A/R) within a fast‑growing multifinance environment. The successful candidate will work closely with cross‑functional teams, applying strong analytical and negotiation skills to meet collection targets while upholding the highest standards of integrity and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Manage end‑to‑end collection activities for overdue loans, ensuring all payments are recovered in accordance with company policy and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly aging reports; identify high‑risk accounts and develop proactive remediation plans.
- Conduct outbound calls, send reminder letters, and negotiate payment arrangements with borrowers, always aiming for amicable resolutions.
- Collaborate with the credit underwriting, legal, and customer service departments to resolve disputes and streamline the collection workflow.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records in the company’s CRM system, documenting all communications and actions taken.
- Analyze collection trends and provide regular performance reports to senior management, highlighting areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, data privacy laws, and the ethical standards of the multifinance sector.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting process enhancements that reduce delinquency rates.
- Assist in training new team members on collection techniques, negotiation tactics, and system usage.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3 or S1 from any discipline; high school (SMA/SMK) graduates are also considered for entry‑level positions.
- Age not exceeding 29 years.
- Open to fresh graduates, though at least one year of experience in a similar collection or credit control role is a strong advantage.
- Solid understanding of multifinance business processes and a results‑driven mindset.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with proven negotiation abilities.
- High level of integrity, perseverance, attention to detail, and honesty.
- Proficiency in using office productivity tools and familiarity with CRM or loan management software.
- Ability to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 16:00, and adapt to a fast‑paced environment.
