Introduction
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Restaurant Waiter – Guest Service to join our vibrant dining team. This full‑time role is based at our flagship outlet, operating six days a week (Monday to Saturday) from 08:00 to 17:00. The ideal candidate will embody the values of hospitality, reliability, and a strong work ethic while delivering a memorable experience to every guest.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and courteously, presenting menus and explaining daily specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special requests and dietary restrictions are recorded correctly.
- Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely delivery of dishes and drinks.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including setting tables, polishing utensils, and resetting after each service.
- Handle payment transactions efficiently, issue receipts, and process cash or card payments.
- Respond to guest inquiries and resolve any concerns with professionalism and empathy.
- Assist in inventory checks of tableware, napkins, and condiments, reporting shortages to the supervisor.
- Collaborate closely with fellow wait staff, hosts, and kitchen crew to ensure smooth service flow.
- Uphold health, safety, and sanitation standards in compliance with local regulations.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on menu changes, service techniques, and hospitality trends.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Male candidate, Muslim faith, in alignment with the restaurant’s cultural environment.
- Age: up to 30 years old (maximum 0 years of experience required – entry‑level welcome).
- Strong attention to detail, honesty, and a trustworthy attitude.
- Positive attitude with a genuine passion for guest service.
- Excellent teamwork skills; ability to collaborate effectively with diverse staff.
- High level of work spirit and willingness to take initiative.
- Basic proficiency in food and beverage service skills, including knowledge of menu items and proper serving etiquette.
- Good communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and basic English is a plus.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle the demands of a fast‑paced dining environment.
