Introduction
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Sales Akuisisi Merchant EDC – Area Kabupaten Gianyar to join our rapidly expanding team. This role focuses on canvassing small and medium‑size enterprises (UMKM) throughout the Gianyar region, presenting our state‑of‑the‑art Electronic Data Capture (EDC) machines, and driving new merchant acquisition. The ideal candidate is a self‑starter with a proven sales track record, a passion for helping local businesses grow, and the ability to meet daily targets while delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Conduct door‑to‑door and on‑site visits to UMKM owners, introducing the benefits of our EDC solutions and tailoring pitches to each merchant’s specific payment needs.
- Achieve a daily acquisition target of 2‑3 new merchants, consistently tracking progress against key performance indicators.
- Prepare and deliver compelling product demonstrations, highlighting features such as fast transaction speed, secure data encryption, and easy integration with existing point‑of‑sale systems.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of prospects using a CRM system, ensuring accurate documentation of leads, follow‑up activities, and closed deals.
- Collaborate with the marketing and technical support teams to address merchant inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and provide post‑sale assistance.
- Gather market intelligence on competitor offerings, pricing strategies, and emerging payment trends to inform sales tactics and product enhancements.
- Participate in weekly sales meetings, sharing successes, challenges, and best practices to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Adhere to company policies regarding safety, ethical conduct, and compliance with local regulations, including proper handling of customer data.
- Maintain a professional appearance and a reliable two‑wheel vehicle to ensure timely coverage of assigned territories.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of proven sales experience, preferably in financial services, technology, or consumer electronics.
- Valid Indonesian driving license (SIM C) and personal motorcycle for field visits.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, and able to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
- Basic analytical abilities to interpret sales data and adjust strategies accordingly.
