As a Sales Canvasing QRIS professional, you will play a pivotal role in expanding the adoption of QR‑based payment technology among small and medium‑size merchants such as shops, cafés, restaurants, and warungs. This is a hybrid position that blends field canvassing with remote support, offering a dynamic work environment for candidates who thrive on face‑to‑face interaction and digital onboarding.
Responsibilities
- Conduct systematic canvassing visits to retail outlets, eateries, and other business establishments throughout the Bandung metropolitan region.
- Present the benefits, security features, and operational workflow of QRIS to merchants, tailoring the pitch to each business’s unique needs.
- Guide merchants through the complete QRIS account registration process, whether manually on paper forms or via the mobile application, ensuring all required documentation is accurate and complete.
- Verify that newly registered merchants activate their QRIS terminals and begin processing transactions within the agreed timeframe.
- Monitor daily transaction volumes, troubleshoot common technical or usage issues, and provide on‑site or remote assistance to maintain high merchant satisfaction.
- Compile and submit detailed reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, highlighting the number of merchants approached, signed up, and actively using QRIS.
- Maintain strong, long‑term relationships with merchants by offering continuous education, promotional updates, and personalized support.
- Collaborate with internal marketing and product teams to relay field insights that can improve service offerings and promotional strategies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, data protection regulations, and the standards set by the Indonesian Central Bank for QRIS transactions.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: 18–40 years.
- At least 1 year of proven sales experience, preferably in merchant acquisition, financial services, or payment‑gateway solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms.
- Self‑motivated, target‑oriented, and comfortable with a full‑time canvassing schedule (Monday‑Saturday, 09:00‑18:00).
- Ownership of a reliable motorcycle or scooter for field travel.
- Android smartphone with internet connectivity for on‑the‑go registration and reporting.
- Basic proficiency with sales management tools, spreadsheets, and CRM platforms.
