Introduction
We are seeking an energetic and results‑driven Sales Motoris Produk Rokok to join our distribution network across the key Indonesian cities of Pontianak, Samarinda, and Singkawang. The successful candidate will be the front‑line ambassador of our tobacco portfolio, responsible for expanding market share, strengthening retailer relationships, and executing promotional activities that drive volume and brand visibility. This role is ideal for a motivated individual with a solid foundation in field sales, a passion for customer service, and the flexibility to work on the road daily.
Responsibilities
- Gather and analyse market intelligence, identifying high‑potential outlets and untapped sales zones.
- Conduct regular visits to wholesale and retail customers, presenting product ranges, negotiating orders, and achieving monthly sales targets.
- Implement in‑store promotional programs, including point‑of‑sale displays, merchandising standards, and sampling initiatives.
- Ensure all promotional activities comply with company policies, legal regulations, and industry standards.
- Prepare accurate daily and weekly reports on sales performance, stock levels, and competitor activities.
- Build and maintain strong, trust‑based relationships with grocers, minimarkets, and other retail partners.
- Coordinate closely with regional sales managers, logistics teams, and marketing specialists to align on pricing, stock replenishment, and campaign execution.
- Monitor product availability, resolve out‑of‑stock issues promptly, and provide feedback on product positioning.
- Participate in periodic training sessions to stay up‑to‑date on new product launches, regulatory changes, and best sales practices.
- Represent the company at local trade events, roadshows, and retailer meetings as required.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of proven experience in field sales, motorbike sales, sales‑to‑order (TO), merchandising (MD), or promotional roles, preferably within the tobacco or fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector.
- Male candidates only, aged 34 years or younger.
- Own a reliable motorcycle with valid registration documents (SIM C and STNK).
- Residence within the assigned sales area (Pontianak, Samarinda, or Singkawang).
- Strong analytical skills for sales data interpretation and market trend identification.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, with a customer‑centric mindset.
- High level of self‑motivation, discipline, and the ability to work independently in the field.
- Flexibility to work extended hours and adapt to changing market conditions.
