Introduction
SPX Express, a leading last‑mile logistics provider in Indonesia, is seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Kepala Hub for its Wajo hub in Kabupaten Wajo, Sulawesi Selatan. This pivotal role will oversee the end‑to‑end flow of parcels, ensuring that every shipment moves smoothly from pickup to final delivery. The successful candidate will act as the operational heartbeat of the hub, coordinating cross‑functional teams, optimizing processes, and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and guarantee on‑time delivery of parcels, tracking each shipment from the point of collection through to customer receipt.
- Coordinate daily operations with Warehouse, Line Haul, and third‑party logistics (3PL) partners to align schedules, resolve bottlenecks, and maintain service level agreements.
- Implement risk‑mitigation strategies to minimize lost or damaged packages, including proper handling procedures and real‑time incident reporting.
- Oversee all hub transactions, ensuring accurate documentation, data integrity, and compliance with company SOPs.
- Supervise inbound and outbound activities, balancing load planning, dock allocation, and resource utilization to achieve optimal throughput.
- Lead, coach, and develop hub staff, conducting performance reviews, providing on‑the‑job training, and fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Analyze daily performance metrics (e.g., on‑time delivery, transit times, error rates) and generate actionable insights for senior management.
- Maintain strict adherence to safety regulations, ensuring that all employees follow proper equipment handling and workplace safety protocols.
- Prepare and present regular operational reports, highlighting key performance indicators, challenges, and improvement initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement projects, leveraging lean and Six Sigma principles to streamline processes and reduce waste.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in any field is preferred.
- At least 3 years of supervisory or coordination experience within logistics, supply chain, or a related industry.
- Demonstrated experience in both First Mile and Last Mile operations, with a solid understanding of planning, shipping, and warehousing processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, capable of creating complex reports, pivot tables, and data visualizations.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret operational data and drive evidence‑based decisions.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, able to motivate diverse teams and negotiate with internal and external partners.
- Flexibility to reside in or relocate to Tempe, Kabupaten Wajo, Sulawesi Selatan.
