Introduction
We are seeking a motivated and results‑driven Sales Task Force member to join our dynamic team in Tanjung Jabung Timur. This position plays a pivotal role in expanding the market presence of our premium tobacco products by building strong relationships with retail and convenience‑store outlets. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast‑paced environment, possess a solid foundation in sales fundamentals, and demonstrate a proactive attitude toward achieving and surpassing sales targets.
Responsibilities
- Visit assigned retail and convenience stores on a daily basis to present product offerings, negotiate pricing, and secure orders.
- Implement effective sales strategies, including promotional activities and upselling techniques, to meet or exceed monthly sales quotas.
- Maintain accurate and timely daily reports on sales activity, inventory levels, and market feedback using company‑provided reporting tools.
- Develop and nurture long‑term relationships with store owners and managers, acting as the primary point of contact for product inquiries and support.
- Monitor competitor activity in the territory and provide actionable insights to the sales manager for strategic adjustments.
- Coordinate with the logistics and distribution teams to ensure timely product deliveries and resolve any fulfillment issues.
- Participate in regular sales meetings, training sessions, and field audits to continuously improve product knowledge and selling techniques.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Maximum age: 35 years.
- Male candidates only (as specified by the client).
- At least one (1) year of proven experience in a sales role, preferably in FMCG or tobacco distribution.
- Active SIM C driver’s license and personal motorcycle for field travel.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence buying decisions.
- Basic administrative abilities, including accurate data entry and report preparation.
- Analytical mindset to interpret sales data and identify growth opportunities.
- Self‑motivated, disciplined, and able to work independently while aligning with team goals.
