Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Pramuniaga Penjualan to join our retail team in Parepare. This entry‑level sales associate role is ideal for candidates who are eager to develop a career in retail while upholding strong personal values and a disciplined work ethic. The successful applicant will work Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00, providing friendly, knowledgeable service to our diverse customer base.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly, understand their needs, and guide them to suitable products, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor by restocking shelves, arranging merchandise, and executing planograms.
- Process transactions accurately, handle cash and electronic payments, and issue receipts in accordance with store policy.
- Conduct regular inventory checks, report stock discrepancies, and assist with ordering and receiving deliveries.
- Promote ongoing promotions, loyalty programs, and cross‑sell complementary items to increase average transaction value.
- Prepare daily sales reports, track key performance indicators, and communicate results to the store manager.
- Ensure the store complies with health, safety, and religious observance standards, including providing a clean area for the five daily prayers.
- Collaborate with teammates on visual merchandising projects, seasonal displays, and community outreach events.
- Maintain personal appearance in line with company dress code; female staff must wear a hijab as part of the uniform.
- Continuously develop product knowledge through training sessions and self‑study, staying current with market trends.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age not exceeding 28 years.
- Open to all genders; female candidates must observe hijab.
- Commitment to performing the five daily Islamic prayers on time.
- Prior experience in sales or customer service is preferred but not mandatory.
- Physically fit with proportional height and weight, enabling the handling of merchandise and standing for extended periods.
- Good moral character, strong work ethic, and sound mental and spiritual health.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Basic numeracy for cash handling and ability to use point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
- Team‑player attitude, problem‑solving capability, and flexibility to adapt to shifting store demands.
