Introduction
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Engineer – Product Development to join our dynamic engineering team. This role is focused on the design, development, and optimization of HVAC and mechanical (ME) systems for commercial and industrial applications. The ideal candidate will bring at least one year of hands‑on experience in a similar engineering position, possess a solid technical foundation, and demonstrate a strong commitment to quality and safety.
Responsibilities
- Lead the conceptual design and detailed engineering of HVAC and mechanical products, ensuring alignment with customer specifications and industry standards.
- Conduct feasibility studies, perform calculations, and develop prototypes to validate design assumptions.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams—including electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing engineers—to drive projects from concept through production release.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, such as drawings, Bill of Materials (BOM), test plans, and validation reports.
- Oversee prototype testing, analyze performance data, and implement design improvements to enhance efficiency, reliability, and cost‑effectiveness.
- Ensure all designs comply with local regulations, safety codes, and company quality standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and technicians, providing guidance on best practices, troubleshooting, and professional development.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source components, evaluate alternatives, and negotiate technical specifications.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting process enhancements and adopting emerging technologies.
- Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to company safety policies and promoting a culture of hazard awareness.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent technical diploma.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in a senior engineering or product development role, preferably within the HVAC or mechanical engineering sector.
- Strong understanding of HVAC principles, system integration, and mechanical engineering fundamentals.
- Physical requirement: minimum height of 165 cm.
- Valid Indonesian driving licence (SIM A) and relevant technical certifications.
- Proficiency in technical drawing software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and engineering analysis tools.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities, with a data‑driven approach to design validation.
- Effective communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and basic English, enabling clear interaction with internal teams and external partners.
- Demonstrated teamwork, leadership, and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
