Introduction
PT. GreenTech Manufacturing is seeking a skilled Teknisi Pemeliharaan Mesin Pabrik to join our dynamic team in Cikupa. This role is pivotal to maintaining the reliability and efficiency of our high‑throughput recycling and industrial machinery. As a key member of the Production Support Group, you will work closely with operators, PPIC planners, and senior management to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance of critical assets.
Our plant operates on a 24‑hour schedule, seven days a week, and we are looking for a proactive professional who can thrive under pressure, adapt to shift work, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment, including conveyors, shredders, granulators, and other recycling line components.
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions quickly, troubleshoot root causes, and execute corrective repairs to restore production within established time targets.
- Maintain detailed maintenance logs, update Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) records, and generate reports for management review.
- Collaborate with the Production Team to schedule maintenance activities that align with production plans while minimizing impact on output.
- Lead small maintenance crews, delegate tasks, and ensure all safety procedures and lock‑out/tag‑out protocols are strictly followed.
- Provide technical support for new equipment installations, including commissioning, testing, and operator training.
- Identify opportunities for equipment upgrades, parts standardization, and process optimization, presenting recommendations to engineering and management.
- Assist in developing and updating standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintenance checklists.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations, conducting regular inspections and corrective actions as needed.
- Communicate effectively with PPIC, Quality Assurance, and other cross‑functional teams to resolve issues and improve overall plant performance.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 or S1 in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in industrial machine maintenance, preferably within recycling or heavy‑industry environments.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electrical circuits.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a small team, coordinate tasks, and communicate clearly with production, PPIC, and management.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to changing shift schedules (including night and weekend shifts).
- English proficiency is a plus, especially for reading technical manuals and interacting with multinational suppliers.
- Excellent problem‑solving mindset, with a focus on preventive maintenance and continuous improvement.
- Physical stamina to work in a plant environment, including lifting moderate loads and navigating confined spaces.
