We are seeking a dedicated Kasir Harian (Daily Cashier) to join our fast‑paced retail team in the vibrant cultural hub of Ubud. As the face of our store, you will play a pivotal role in delivering seamless checkout experiences, managing cash flow, and supporting overall store operations.
Responsibilities
- Process all cash, credit, and electronic transactions accurately and efficiently using our POS (Point‑of‑Sale) system.
- Verify the authenticity of cash and currency notes, ensuring compliance with company fraud‑prevention policies.
- Provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance to customers, answering product inquiries and resolving minor complaints.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including regular stocking of bags, receipts, and promotional materials.
- Perform end‑of‑day cash reconciliation, prepare daily sales reports, and securely deposit cash in the designated safe.
- Collaborate with inventory staff to update stock levels, report discrepancies, and assist with stock‑taking when required.
- Support promotional campaigns by upselling related products and informing customers about ongoing offers.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards, especially during peak periods and special events.
- Assist teammates in other store functions during quiet periods, demonstrating flexibility and a team‑first mindset.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Diploma (D3/D4) in Business, Retail Management, or related field.
- Open to candidates of any gender; both male and female applicants are encouraged to apply.
- Prior experience in cash handling or retail sales is preferred, though motivated newcomers are also considered.
- Strong communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; proficiency in English is an advantage.
- Demonstrated honesty, reliability, and a high degree of responsibility when handling monetary transactions.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Resilience to work under pressure, especially during busy weekends and holiday seasons.
- Familiarity with basic store management software or willingness to quickly learn the Sistem Manajemen Toko.
- Age: applicants must be of legal working age; no upper age limit.
- Availability to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
