Introduction

The role of Spesialis Bancassurance – Penempatan di BNI KCP Ternate will serve as the primary interface between BNI Bank branches and BNI Life’s portfolio of individual insurance products. Successful candidates will be placed across a range of BNI branch locations in the Maluku Islands, including KC Ternate and several KCP outlets such as Soasio, Tobelo, Sofifi, Jailolo, Morotai, Weda, Bacan, and the temporary KK Bastiong office.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan for life insurance products within assigned BNI branch outlets.
- Identify prospective individual customers, conduct needs‑analysis interviews, and present tailored insurance solutions.
- Deliver persuasive product presentations and negotiate terms to secure new policies while adhering to compliance standards.
- Maintain a robust pipeline of leads through proactive prospecting, networking, and collaboration with branch staff.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with internal stakeholders (BNI branch managers, tellers, and support staff) to ensure seamless integration of insurance services.
- Provide exceptional after‑sales service, including policy reviews, claim assistance, and renewal reminders, to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
- Track performance metrics, generate weekly and monthly sales reports, and propose corrective actions to meet or exceed targets.
- Participate in regular training sessions, product workshops, and industry seminars to stay current on market trends and regulatory changes.
- Represent BNI Life at community events, financial fairs, and corporate outreach programs to raise brand awareness.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; candidates with a D3 or S1 degree in any discipline are also welcome.
- Age: 20‑35 years.
- At least 1 year of experience in financial services marketing; preferably 2 years of experience in banking or insurance sales.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills; ability to convey complex insurance concepts in simple terms.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a customer‑centric mindset and a genuine interest in sales.
- Professional appearance and well‑groomed demeanor.
- Not listed as an active member of the Association of Indonesian Financial Services (AAJI).
- Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia; English proficiency is a plus.
- Ability to work Monday‑Friday, 08:00‑17:00, and travel to assigned branch locations as required.
