Introduction
We are a leading pet‑care salon based in the Tangerang region, dedicated to delivering top‑quality grooming services for dogs of all breeds and sizes. We are currently seeking a Professional Dog Grooming Specialist to join our team. The position is full‑time, with working hours from 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM. The successful candidate will be based in Tangerang or nearby districts and must be able to commute by motorbike.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive grooming services, including bathing, fur trimming, nail clipping, ear cleaning, and basic skin care.
- Assess each dog’s coat, skin condition, and overall health, and promptly report any abnormalities or concerns to the supervisor.
- Handle all dogs with patience, gentleness, and empathy, ensuring they feel secure throughout the grooming process.
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming station, regularly sanitizing tools, tubs, and work surfaces in accordance with health and safety SOPs.
- Educate pet owners on proper home grooming techniques, coat maintenance, and signs of potential health issues.
- Provide courteous and professional customer service, answering inquiries, scheduling appointments, and managing client expectations.
- Collaborate with fellow staff members to ensure smooth workflow during peak hours and special events.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions to stay current with the latest grooming trends, breed‑specific styling, and animal welfare standards.
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring grooming supplies and notifying management of low stock levels.
Requirements
- All educational levels are accepted; a genuine passion for animal care is essential.
- Age between 20 and 25 years.
- Both male and female candidates are welcome.
- No prior professional grooming experience required; on‑the‑job training will be provided.
- Strong interpersonal skills: patience, attention to detail, and a responsible work ethic.
- Ability to operate a motorbike for commuting purposes.
- Residence within Tangerang or surrounding areas.
- Basic knowledge of dog breeds, coat types, and common grooming challenges is advantageous.
- Commitment to adhering to safety protocols, hygiene standards, and company SOPs.
