Introduction

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Pharmacy Staff to join our growing retail pharmacy team. This role focuses on the safe handling of medications, accurate dispensing, and delivering exceptional customer service in a fast‑paced environment. The successful candidate will work closely with pharmacists, store managers, and fellow staff members to ensure that every patient receives the right medication, the right information, and the right care.

Responsibilities

  • Assist pharmacists in preparing, labeling, and dispensing prescription and over‑the‑counter medicines according to established protocols.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular stock counts, and coordinate with suppliers to replenish medicines and medical supplies.
  • Provide clear, courteous counseling to customers on medication usage, dosage, potential side effects, and storage requirements.
  • Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure a friendly, professional atmosphere on the pharmacy floor.
  • Operate the pharmacy’s point‑of‑sale (POS) system, process transactions, and manage cash handling procedures with precision.
  • Adhere strictly to health‑safety regulations, including proper disposal of expired or recalled products.
  • Participate in regular training sessions, stay updated on new drug formulations, and share knowledge with junior staff.
  • Support shift transitions by preparing handover reports, noting any urgent issues, and ensuring continuity of service.
  • Uphold the pharmacy’s standards for cleanliness, organization, and confidentiality of patient records.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: Diploma (D3) or higher in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
  • High school (SMA/SMK) specialization in Pharmacy is highly preferred.
  • Female candidates are preferred to align with the current staffing strategy.
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends (Monday–Saturday, 08:00‑17:00).
  • Strong sense of honesty, integrity, and a genuine desire to learn and grow within the pharmaceutical sector.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
  • Basic administrative abilities, including record‑keeping, data entry, and inventory management.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑moving environment while maintaining attention to detail.
