Introduction
We are seeking enthusiastic and detail‑oriented individuals to join our Drafter Internship Program. This hands‑on training opportunity is designed for recent graduates or students from technical backgrounds who are eager to develop practical drafting skills in a fast‑paced engineering environment. Interns will work closely with senior engineers, designers, and project managers to produce accurate 2D and 3D drawings that support construction and architectural projects throughout the region, with a focus on the Depok area.
Responsibilities
- Create and revise 2D technical drawings using AutoCAD according to project specifications.
- Develop 3D models and visualizations in SketchUp to assist design reviews and client presentations.
- Interpret architectural and engineering concepts, translating them into clear, dimensioned drawings.
- Prepare comprehensive drawing packages—including layouts, details, sections, and schedules—for construction crews.
- Perform iterative revisions based on feedback from supervisors, engineers, and designers.
- Maintain an organized filing system for all drawing files, ensuring version control and easy retrieval.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (structural, MEP, site supervision) to verify drawing accuracy and resolve conflicts.
- Support additional technical drawing tasks as assigned, such as drafting shop drawings, as‑built documentation, or site‑specific modifications.
- Participate in weekly coordination meetings to stay aligned with project milestones and deadlines.
- Continuously improve drafting standards by staying current with industry best practices and software updates.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMK/SMK Jurusan Bangunan, Teknik Gambar Bangunan, Teknik Sipil, Arsitektur, atau setara.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (2D) and SketchUp (3D).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, design concepts, and construction documents.
- Fundamental understanding of drawing conventions such as scale, dimensioning, and layout.
- High attention to detail, organized file‑management habits, and a tidy work style.
- Self‑motivated with the capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Preferred residence: Depok and surrounding areas to facilitate on‑site visits.
- Age limit: maximum 29 years.
