Introduction
The Academic Bureau and Curriculum Development Staff member plays a pivotal role in supporting the university’s academic integrity and the continuous improvement of its curricula. Reporting to the Head of Academic Services, this position is responsible for meticulous data handling, document preparation, and collaborative initiatives that enhance the quality of academic programs. The role operates on a full‑time schedule from Monday to Friday, 14:00‑22:00, and offers an engaging environment for professionals who thrive on accuracy, technology adoption, and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Enter, clean, and analyze academic data, ensuring that student records, course outcomes, and faculty metrics are up‑to‑date and error‑free.
- Conduct thorough verification of academic information, cross‑checking enrollment figures, grade submissions, and accreditation reports for compliance with institutional standards.
- Prepare and maintain a wide range of administrative documents, including official letters, meeting minutes, policy briefs, and periodic performance reports.
- Collaborate with curriculum designers, department heads, and IT specialists to integrate data insights into curriculum revisions and new program proposals.
- Utilize Microsoft Office Suite—especially advanced Excel functions and Word formatting—to generate dashboards, charts, and presentation materials for senior management.
- Stay abreast of emerging educational technologies and quickly learn new information systems, contributing suggestions for process automation.
- Support accreditation and quality‑assurance audits by supplying accurate data extracts and responding to auditor inquiries.
- Foster effective communication across academic and administrative units, ensuring that information flows smoothly and confidentially.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Education, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 1 year of professional experience in academic data management, administrative support, or curriculum development.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in data entry, data validation, and analysis; strong command of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to learn new campus information systems quickly.
- Analytical Ability: Demonstrated attention to detail when verifying academic records and generating reports.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of drafting formal documents and interacting professionally with faculty, staff, and students.
