As a brand ambassador for Shopee Paylater, you will play a pivotal role in expanding the adoption of our “Buy Now, Pay Later” (BNPL) solution across key retail locations in the Greater Jakarta area and surrounding regions. This position offers a dynamic work environment, flexible placement based on your domicile, and the opportunity to earn competitive daily fees plus performance‑based incentives.
Responsibilities
- Approach potential consumers in malls, supermarkets, and independent stores to introduce the Shopee Paylater product.
- Provide clear, concise information on how the Paylater service works, including eligibility criteria, repayment schedules, and transaction limits.
- Demonstrate the benefits of using Paylater for everyday purchases, emphasizing convenience, zero‑interest periods, and enhanced purchasing power.
- Persuade and guide customers through the enrollment process, assisting them with on‑spot registration via the Shopee app or dedicated kiosks.
- Maintain and nurture ongoing relationships with merchants and end‑users to encourage repeat usage and gather feedback for service improvement.
- Track daily outreach metrics, report conversion rates, and identify high‑potential zones for targeted campaigns.
- Collaborate with the regional sales manager to align on promotional activities, special offers, and seasonal campaigns.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies while handling customer data securely.
- Participate in periodic training sessions to stay updated on product features, competitive landscape, and best sales practices.
- Provide after‑sales support by addressing any customer inquiries or issues related to the Paylater service.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: up to 30 years old.
- Gender: all genders welcome.
- At least 1 year of proven experience in sales, direct marketing, or customer outreach, preferably in fintech or retail.
- Proficiency with mobile sales applications and basic computer skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities; capable of building rapport quickly.
- Strong persuasive and negotiation skills, with a focus on customer‑centric solutions.
- Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, and able to work independently within the assigned work hours (Tuesday – Sunday, 11:00‑21:00).
- Reliable transportation and willingness to work across the designated placement areas: South Jakarta, North Jakarta, Central Jakarta, East Jakarta, Bekasi City, Bekasi Regency, Karawang, and Purwakarta.
- Flexibility to adapt to varying consumer demographics and store environments.
