Introduction

The Staff Desk Collection – DKI Jakarta is a pivotal role within the credit and collections department of Bank DKI Jakarta, operating through its partner PT. Bumi Daya Plaza. This position is responsible for managing inbound and outbound communications with borrowers, negotiating repayment solutions, and ensuring that delinquent accounts are resolved in a professional and courteous manner. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast‑paced environment, possess strong interpersonal skills, and demonstrate a commitment to maintaining the bank’s reputation for excellent customer service while protecting its financial assets.

Responsibilities

  • Initiate contact with overdue borrowers via phone, email, and SMS to discuss outstanding balances and arrange repayment plans.
  • Analyze each customer’s financial situation and propose tailored solutions that align with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Negotiate settlements, restructuring agreements, and payment schedules while maintaining a focus on maximizing recoveries.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all interactions, promises to pay, and outcomes in the bank’s collection management system.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on collection performance, highlighting trends, challenges, and success stories for management review.
  • Collaborate closely with the credit risk, legal, and customer service teams to ensure a seamless hand‑off of cases and compliance with internal controls.
  • Educate borrowers on the consequences of continued delinquency and provide guidance on financial literacy resources offered by the bank.
  • Monitor and follow up on promised payments, escalating high‑risk accounts to senior supervisors when necessary.
  • Adhere strictly to the Bank DKI Jakarta Code of Conduct, data privacy regulations, and anti‑money‑laundering (AML) policies.

Requirements

  • Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in any discipline.
  • Age: Maximum 33 years.
  • Gender: Open to all genders.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of relevant experience in collections, debt recovery, or customer service within a financial institution.
  • Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, strong phone etiquette, persuasive negotiation, active listening, and ability to handle difficult conversations with empathy.
  • Prefer candidates residing in the DKI Jakarta region.
  • Must not have prior employment with Bank DKI Jakarta.
  • Willingness to join immediately upon selection and to be placed at PT. Bumi Daya Plaza (Bank DKI Jakarta).
  • Proficiency with standard office software (MS Office, CRM tools) and basic data entry.
  • Demonstrated integrity, reliability, and a results‑oriented mindset.
