We are currently expanding our on‑the‑ground fleet and seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Motorcycle Couriers. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy a dynamic work environment, have a passion for customer service, and possess a valid motorcycle license.
Responsibilities
- Load, secure, and transport parcels, documents, and small freight on a company‑issued motorcycle, ensuring items are protected from damage during transit.
- Plan optimal delivery routes using GPS and local knowledge to meet scheduled delivery windows, typically between 08:00 and 17:00.
- Inspect each shipment before departure and verify receipt upon delivery, confirming that all items match the order manifest and are in good condition.
- Assist with loading and unloading goods at both the dispatch hub and the customer’s location, following safety protocols and proper handling techniques.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, record mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents, and submit daily reports to the operations supervisor.
- Communicate promptly with dispatch staff regarding traffic delays, address discrepancies, or customer inquiries to ensure a seamless delivery experience.
- Perform routine checks on the motorcycle (tires, brakes, lights, oil) before each shift and report any maintenance needs to the fleet manager.
- Uphold company standards for professional appearance, courteous interaction, and adherence to local traffic laws.
Requirements
- Minimum education: any level (high school diploma or equivalent preferred).
- Valid motorcycle driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- No upper age limit; candidates of any age who can meet the physical demands of the role are welcome.
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 25 kg and perform repetitive loading/unloading tasks.
- Strong time‑management skills and a proven ability to meet delivery deadlines.
- Basic literacy and numeracy for completing delivery documentation and using handheld devices.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with customers and internal teams.
- Reliability, honesty, and a customer‑oriented mindset.
- Flexibility to work weekdays; exact workdays will be confirmed during onboarding.
