Introduction
We are seeking a reliable and professional Staff Driver – Operational and Logistics to join our dynamic team in Palembang. This role is vital for ensuring that staff, equipment, and goods are transported safely and efficiently both within the city and to out‑of‑town locations. The ideal candidate will possess a clean driving record, a proactive attitude, and the ability to maintain vehicle condition while providing top‑notch service to passengers and cargo owners.
Responsibilities
- Transport staff, parcels, and logistical items to designated destinations across Palembang and surrounding regions.
- Plan and follow optimal routes using GPS tools such as Google Maps to minimize travel time and fuel consumption.
- Conduct daily inspections of the vehicle, ensuring cleanliness, proper maintenance, and readiness for both manual and automatic transmissions.
- Secure cargo and guarantee the safety of passengers throughout each trip, adhering to all traffic regulations and company safety standards.
- Provide courteous and professional communication with clients, colleagues, and external partners, representing the company’s brand positively.
- Remain flexible to work overtime, night shifts, and weekend assignments as operational demands require.
- Document travel logs, fuel receipts, and any incident reports promptly and accurately.
- Assist with minor vehicle troubleshooting and coordinate with the maintenance team for scheduled servicing.
- Support ad‑hoc errands such as picking up documents, delivering urgent supplies, or accompanying senior staff on business trips.
Requirements
- Male candidates aged between 25 and 40 years.
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of proven experience as a professional driver.
- Active and valid SIM A/B1 license (mandatory).
- Good eyesight (no vision impairments) and ability to operate both automatic and manual vehicles.
- Residency in Palembang or willingness to relocate.
- Strong knowledge of local road networks and proficiency with navigation apps (Google Maps, Waze, etc.).
- Excellent communication etiquette, punctuality, and a clean driving record.
- Willingness to work overtime and travel outside the city when required.
