Introduction
PT Bina Artha Ventura, a leading micro‑finance institution operating in Central Java and the Special Region of Yogyakarta, is expanding its field team in the Subang area, covering the neighborhoods of Pagaden, Tambakdahan, and Jalan Cagak. We are looking for enthusiastic and community‑focused individuals to join us as Account Officers (AO) – Field. This role is a frontline, service‑oriented position that involves direct interaction with small‑scale entrepreneurs, primarily women from low‑ to middle‑income households, to help them grow or start their own businesses.
Responsibilities
- Identify and recruit potential partner‑mothers who wish to start or expand a micro‑enterprise.
- Organize these partners into productive groups of up to ten members, fostering peer support and collective growth.
- Disburse micro‑loans and working capital to qualified partners, ensuring compliance with internal credit policies.
- Provide continuous coaching and business development guidance, helping partners improve sales, inventory management, and financial literacy.
- Maintain strong, trust‑based relationships with all partners, acting as the primary point of contact for inquiries and problem solving.
- Collect loan repayments on a bi‑weekly schedule, coordinating group meetings and handling cash or digital transactions securely.
- Prepare regular field reports, track key performance indicators, and submit insights to the regional supervisor.
- Participate in community events and financial education workshops to raise awareness of the institution’s products.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or an equivalent diploma.
- Age: up to 32 years old at the time of application.
- Gender: open to all genders.
- No prior experience required; fresh graduates with a passion for community development are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey financial concepts.
- Marketing aptitude and the ability to promote loan products in a culturally sensitive manner.
- Problem‑solving mindset, capable of navigating challenges faced by small‑scale entrepreneurs.
- Basic proficiency with smartphones and familiarity with digital payment platforms.
- Willingness to work on a Monday‑Friday schedule, 08:00‑17:00, and travel within the assigned field area.
