Introduction
We are seeking a diligent and motivated Staf Penagihan Lapangan to join the National General Accounting and Warranty Institute (NGAWI). This field collection specialist will play a crucial role in maintaining cash flow by ensuring timely payment of overdue installments from our valued customers. The successful candidate will work directly in the field, interacting with consumers, negotiating settlements, and adhering to strict compliance and ethical standards. Responsibilities
- Conduct systematic collection of overdue instalments based on company‑provided data and target lists.
- Visit customers’ residences or business locations to follow up on payment status and verify contact information.
- Communicate payment reminders via telephone, WhatsApp, or face‑to‑face meetings, ensuring a courteous and professional tone.
- Negotiate repayment plans that align with company policy while respecting customers’ financial circumstances.
- Prepare and update daily and weekly collection reports, highlighting successes, challenges, and any escalated cases.
- Coordinate with internal departments such as finance, legal, and customer service to resolve disputes and improve collection efficiency.
- Maintain strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and ethical guidelines for debt collection.
- Monitor regional market trends and local economic factors that may affect repayment behavior, providing insights for strategy adjustments.
- Ensure personal safety and the safety of company assets during field visits by following all security protocols.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on regulatory changes, negotiation techniques, and data privacy requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age not exceeding 33 years.
- Male candidates only (as per current operational policy).
- At least 1 year of experience in collections, sales, or related field; fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
- Valid motor vehicle ownership and an active SIM C driving licence.
- Willingness to work in the field with flexible travel across assigned territories.
- Strong target‑oriented mindset with the ability to meet or exceed collection goals.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to understand and interpret local geographic and demographic information for effective route planning.
- Proficiency in using mobile applications and basic office software for reporting.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism when handling sensitive financial data.
