Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Guru Kelas SD to join the vibrant learning community at Sekolah Family Tiban. This full‑time position is based on our campus and offers the chance to shape the educational journey of elementary students while applying the latest pedagogical approaches, including the Kurikulum Merdeka. The successful candidate will work Monday through Friday, 07:00‑16:00, collaborating with a supportive team of educators, administrators, and parents.
Responsibilities
The Guru Kelas SD will be responsible for delivering high‑quality instruction and fostering a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment. Key duties include:
- Designing and delivering lesson plans that align with the national curriculum and the innovative Kurikulum Merdeka, tailored to the developmental stages of each child.
- Integrating digital learning tools, educational apps, and multimedia resources to create interactive, student‑centered lessons.
- Assessing student progress through formative and summative evaluations, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining accurate academic records.
- Mentoring students individually and in small groups, identifying learning gaps, and implementing remedial strategies.
- Collaborating with fellow teachers to develop cross‑disciplinary projects, share best practices, and participate in faculty meetings.
- Communicating regularly with parents and guardians about student achievements, behavior, and areas for growth.
- Upholding school policies on safety, discipline, and inclusion, and serving as a positive role model for students.
- Participating in professional development workshops, webinars, and community outreach programs to stay current with educational trends.
Requirements
To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications and demonstrate the listed competencies:
- Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar or a related field.
- Experience: At least 1 year of teaching experience in an elementary school setting.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with learning management systems, interactive whiteboards, and common office applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
- Pedagogical Skills: Strong grasp of modern teaching methodologies, especially the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka, and ability to create creative, student‑focused lessons.
- Mentoring & Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills, patience, empathy, and the ability to communicate clearly with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Personal Traits: Cheerful, caring, responsible, loyal, collaborative, and capable of working effectively in a team-oriented environment.
