Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Teknisi Instalasi Elektronik to join our fast‑growing Internet Service Provider (ISP) team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering reliable broadband connectivity to residential and business customers across the region. As a field‑focused technician, you will combine hands‑on installation skills with strong problem‑solving abilities to ensure every client experiences seamless internet service.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and test fiber‑optic and UTP cabling, modem units, and routers at customer premises.
- Perform site surveys to determine optimal cable routes, assess structural constraints, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot connectivity issues using tools such as splicers, LAN testers, OTDR, and optical power meters.
- Document all installation activities, update network diagrams, and log service tickets in the company’s CRM system.
- Collaborate with the network operations center to schedule maintenance windows and report recurring faults.
- Provide on‑site technical support and customer training on basic router configuration and Wi‑Fi optimization.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhere to company safety protocols, and wear appropriate personal protective equipment when working at heights.
- Assist senior engineers during large‑scale roll‑outs, including trenching, pole‑mounting, and splice‑closure installations.
- Continuously update personal knowledge of emerging broadband technologies, such as GPON, DOCSIS 3.1, and Wi‑Fi 6.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; preferred study fields are Teknik Komputer dan Jaringan (TKJ), Rekayasa Perangkat Lunak (RPL), or Electrical Engineering.
- Basic understanding of computer networking concepts, IP addressing, and fiber‑optic transmission principles.
- Hands‑on experience (or training) with technical tools such as splicers, Optical Power Meters (OPM), OTDR, and LAN testers.
- Ability to work safely at heights and in various field conditions; no fear of working on rooftops or ladders.
- Valid SIM C driver’s license and reliable personal transportation for site visits.
- Strong teamwork orientation combined with the capacity to work independently when required.
- Excellent communication skills, honesty, responsibility, and a disciplined work ethic.
- Prior experience in an ISP environment is a significant advantage, though fresh graduates with relevant technical training are encouraged to apply.
