Introduction

PT BIMA Medan is expanding its retail and digital footprint and is looking for enthusiastic, motivated individuals to join our team at the Medan branch. We have two immediate openings: a Staff Store Offline position (open to candidates with or without prior experience) and a Staff Online Social Media Sales & Marketing role (minimum one year of relevant experience required). Both roles play a critical part in delivering a seamless shopping experience, strengthening our brand presence, and driving sales growth in a highly competitive market.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service in the physical store, assisting shoppers with product inquiries, transactions, and after‑sales support.
  • Maintain store cleanliness, organize merchandise displays, and ensure inventory accuracy through regular stock checks.
  • Assist in visual merchandising to create attractive product presentations that align with brand guidelines.
  • Develop and execute social‑media marketing campaigns across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube to increase online visibility.
  • Craft engaging digital content (photos, videos, copy) that showcases promotions, new arrivals, and seasonal offers.
  • Monitor and respond to customer inquiries, comments, and messages in a timely, professional manner.
  • Analyze performance metrics (reach, engagement, conversion rates) and adjust strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Collaborate with the head of sales, inventory team, and logistics to coordinate promotional events, flash sales, and product launches.
  • Adhere to company policies, health & safety regulations, and schedule requirements, including weekend and public‑holiday shifts.
  • Continuously seek learning opportunities, attend training sessions, and stay updated on the latest e‑commerce and retail trends.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • Age: 25 years or younger.
  • All genders are welcome to apply.
  • At least one year of experience in digital marketing, social‑media sales, or retail operations for the online role; no experience required for the offline role.
  • Demonstrated honesty, discipline, and a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Serious attitude toward work and a willingness to learn and grow.
  • Ability to follow company rules and procedures.
  • Unmarried status (as per current company policy).
  • Positive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to work on weekends and public holidays.
  • Non‑smoker.
  • Key soft skills: effective communication, teamwork, problem‑solving, time management, and adaptability.
  • Technical skills (for the online position): content creation, digital advertising, SEO basics, data analytics, and familiarity with social‑media management tools.
