Introduction

We are seeking a dynamic Koordinator Operasional Kitchen to lead the daily operations of our bustling kitchen environment. This pivotal role ensures that food preparation, safety standards, and team performance align with our brand’s commitment to excellence. The ideal candidate will combine strong leadership abilities with hands‑on kitchen expertise, creating a seamless workflow that supports both high‑volume service and exceptional culinary quality.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all kitchen activities from opening to closing, ensuring that each shift runs smoothly and on schedule.
  • Coordinate the ordering, receiving, and inventory management of raw materials, guaranteeing that stock levels meet demand while minimizing waste.
  • Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for food preparation, plating, and sanitation to comply with local health regulations.
  • Lead, mentor, and schedule kitchen staff—including chefs, line cooks, and assistants—fostering a collaborative and high‑performing team culture.
  • Monitor food quality and presentation, conducting regular tastings and visual inspections to maintain consistency across the menu.
  • Handle customer feedback related to food service, working closely with the front‑of‑house team to resolve issues promptly.
  • Implement cost‑control measures, track daily expenses, and generate reports that support budgeting and profitability goals.
  • Ensure that all kitchen equipment is maintained, calibrated, and operated safely, coordinating repairs or upgrades as needed.
  • Conduct regular training sessions on food safety, knife skills, and new menu items to keep the team updated and motivated.
  • Collaborate with the executive chef on menu development, seasonal changes, and special event planning.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • All genders are welcome; diversity and inclusion are valued.
  • At least 0‑2 years of relevant kitchen experience; prior supervisory or coordination experience is a plus.
  • Professional appearance and a positive, “good attitude” demeanor.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with staff and management.
  • Proven ability to work well in a team environment, fostering cooperation and mutual respect.
  • Willingness to sign a contractual employment agreement.
  • Strong knowledge of operating kitchen equipment and tools.
  • Ability to work the standard schedule: Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
