Introduction

We are seeking a highly motivated Supervisor Crew Kitchen (SPV Crew Kitchen) to join our dynamic foodservice team in South Sulawesi. This pivotal role oversees daily kitchen operations, ensures the highest standards of food quality, safety, and hygiene, and leads a dedicated crew of kitchen and service staff. The successful candidate will be a proactive leader who can balance operational efficiency with exceptional customer service, while fostering a collaborative and disciplined work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise all kitchen activities for both dine‑in and online order fulfillment, ensuring strict adherence to established SOPs.
  • Maintain consistent taste, presentation, and cleanliness of every dish, guaranteeing a premium experience for every guest.
  • Lead, coach, and schedule kitchen and service crews, conducting regular training sessions to improve skill levels and boost morale.
  • Perform daily stock checks (stock opname), monitor inventory levels, and manage food and labor costs to maximize profitability.
  • Address customer complaints promptly and professionally, turning challenges into opportunities for service recovery.
  • Prepare accurate daily and weekly reports covering sales performance, operational metrics, and inventory status.
  • Enforce food safety protocols, including HACCP guidelines, and ensure the kitchen complies with all health regulations.
  • Collaborate with the outlet manager to develop menu innovations, promotional activities, and operational improvements.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment by conducting regular equipment checks and ensuring proper sanitation practices.
  • Participate in recruitment and onboarding of new kitchen staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a Kitchen Supervisor or in a comparable supervisory role within the foodservice industry.
  • High school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; further culinary or hospitality education is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food preparation techniques, and food safety standards (HACCP preferred).
  • Demonstrated leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate diverse teams.
  • Proven ability to work effectively under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Detail‑oriented, disciplined, and capable of maintaining meticulous records.
  • Flexibility to work shift patterns, including weekends and holidays, with operating hours from 07:00 – 16:00.
