The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods, maintaining vehicle condition, and ensuring timely delivery in accordance with our high service standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate a B1/B2 class truck to deliver cargo on pre‑planned routes, adhering strictly to schedules and traffic regulations.
- Inspect the vehicle before departure and after each trip, checking fluid levels, tire pressure, brakes, and overall mechanical health.
- Secure loads using appropriate tie‑down methods, verify loading documents, and confirm that goods match the manifest.
- Maintain a clean and orderly cabin and exterior, performing routine cleaning and minor upkeep such as oil checks and windshield cleaning.
- Utilize GPS navigation and local road knowledge to choose the most efficient routes while avoiding congestion and construction zones.
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and supervisors, reporting any delays, incidents, or mechanical issues encountered on the road.
- Assist with basic vehicle maintenance tasks, including tire rotations, battery checks, and minor repairs, to reduce downtime.
- Observe safety protocols at all times, including the proper use of personal protective equipment and adherence to load‑capacity limits.
- Document daily mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery confirmations in the company’s electronic logging system.
- Participate in periodic training sessions on defensive driving, cargo handling, and customer service excellence.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: 21–35 years old; male or female candidates are welcome.
- Valid Indonesian driving license SIM B1/B2 with no major traffic violations on record.
- At least 1 year of professional truck driving experience; prior experience with long‑haul routes is highly preferred.
- Proficient in using GPS navigation tools and familiar with major highways and regional roads.
- Physically fit and mentally alert, capable of handling long driving periods and occasional heavy lifting.
- Demonstrates discipline, punctuality, strong sense of responsibility, and a customer‑focused attitude.
- Willingness to work part‑time with flexible hours, typically Monday to Saturday, 08:00–17:00, with the possibility of adjusting shifts to meet demand.
- Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshoot minor mechanical problems.
