We are seeking a dynamic Team Leader Sales Promotor to join our growing team in the Surabaya area. This pivotal role is responsible for driving sales performance, building strong relationships with merchants, and leading a team of 15‑20 sales promoters to achieve and exceed their targets. Responsibilities
- Achieve and surpass sales targets for the designated Surabaya territory.
- Conduct daily visits to merchants, cultivating strong relationships with store PICs (Persons In Charge) to ensure brand visibility and loyalty.
- Oversee the execution of promotional programs, guaranteeing that POP (Point‑of‑Purchase) materials are correctly placed and that sales objectives are met.
- Coordinate closely with partner operational teams to gather market intelligence, including competitor activities and field challenges.
- Supervise a team of 15‑20 sales promoters, providing clear direction, performance feedback, and motivation.
- Monitor daily activities, attendance, and results of promoters, using data‑driven insights to improve efficiency.
- Organize and deliver regular training sessions, refresher courses, and on‑the‑job coaching to enhance the team’s product knowledge and selling techniques.
- Prepare and present weekly and monthly sales reports, highlighting achievements, obstacles, and action plans.
- Identify new business opportunities within the territory, proposing strategic initiatives to senior management.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of proven experience in sales, field promotion, or team leadership within the FMCG or retail sector.
- Strong analytical skills for competitor and sales analysis.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to build rapport with merchants and internal stakeholders.
- Leadership qualities with a track record of managing small to medium‑sized teams.
- Self‑motivated, results‑driven, and capable of working independently under minimal supervision.
- Flexible schedule: Monday – Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
