Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Technician Pemeliharaan Peralatan Industri to join our expanding operations in Ibu Kota Nusantara (IKN). This role is critical to ensuring that all industrial equipment within our hospitality facilities runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently. The successful candidate will bring a solid technical background, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive attitude toward preventive maintenance and rapid problem resolution. Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections, calibrations, and preventive maintenance on a wide range of industrial machinery, including HVAC systems, kitchen appliances, laundry equipment, and building automation devices.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults quickly, document findings, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Maintain detailed maintenance logs and update the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to track service history and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with the facilities and housekeeping teams to schedule maintenance activities that do not disrupt guest services, especially during peak hospitality periods.
- Provide on‑site technical support for emergency breakdowns, ensuring rapid response times and effective communication with supervisors and hotel management.
- Assist in the procurement of spare parts, tools, and consumables, ensuring inventory levels are optimized for cost‑effective operations.
- Train junior technicians and cross‑functional staff on basic troubleshooting techniques and safety procedures.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting upgrades, energy‑saving measures, and process enhancements that align with sustainability goals.
- Ensure compliance with local safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies by conducting regular safety audits and risk assessments.
- Support the help‑desk function by providing technical guidance, answering equipment‑related queries, and escalating complex issues to senior engineers when necessary.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1–2 years of hands‑on experience in industrial equipment maintenance within the hospitality sector.
- Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance practices, troubleshooting techniques, and safety protocols.
- Excellent attention to detail and a hardworking, results‑driven mindset.
- Willingness to relocate to Ibu Kota Nusantara (IKN); candidates currently residing in Kalimantan are preferred.
- Immediate availability to join the team.
- Effective communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and basic English, with the ability to document technical reports clearly.
- Proficiency in using help‑desk support tools and basic IT literacy.
