Introduction

Maybank Indonesia is seeking a proactive and technically skilled IT Support professional to join its Padang branch. This role is essential for maintaining the bank’s high‑availability IT environment, supporting daily operations, and ensuring smooth execution of infrastructure projects across branch offices, ATM clusters, and data centre facilities. The successful candidate will work closely with the regional technology team to deliver reliable hardware, software, and network services in a fast‑paced banking environment.

Responsibilities

  • Operational & Project Support: Assist in renovation, relocation, and recabling projects for branch offices, KPNO locations, and ATM/CDM sites; coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to minimize downtime.
  • Hardware Maintenance: Install, configure, and troubleshoot PCs, pin‑pads, CCTV cameras, MEA devices, IP‑based multi‑function printers, and call‑back recorders; conduct regular preventive maintenance and firmware updates.
  • Software Management: Deploy and configure Core Banking applications, enforce operating system standards, and install authorized specialized software after approval from senior management.
  • Server Room Monitoring: Observe temperature, humidity, and fire‑smoke detection systems in accordance with SOPs; ensure UPS and backup power systems are operational.
  • Backup & Data Protection: Perform scheduled backups of CCTV footage, Nice Digital Recorder archives, and critical system configurations; verify backup integrity and restore capabilities.
  • Network Administration: Manage IP address allocation, VLAN configuration, and basic routing; resolve connectivity issues and support Wi‑Fi infrastructure for staff and customers.
  • Technical Troubleshooting: Provide first‑line support for end‑user incidents, document tickets, and follow up to guarantee resolution within service level agreements.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain up‑to‑date asset inventories, configuration logs, and project status reports; contribute to periodic audit preparation.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all equipment installations meet safety standards, and uphold the bank’s security policies for physical and cyber assets.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: D3/D4 in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of hands‑on experience in IT support within a corporate or banking environment (fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply if they demonstrate strong technical aptitude).
  • Valid health certificate from a licensed physician.
  • Active police clearance (SKCK) issued by the Indonesian National Police.
  • Possession of a Maybank Indonesia bank account for payroll processing.
  • Proficiency in installing and configuring Windows and Linux operating systems, as well as Core Banking software.
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, IP‑based devices, and basic security protocols.
  • Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work under pressure and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities; capable of explaining technical concepts to non‑technical staff.
  • Willingness to adhere to additional bank policies and undergo periodic training as required.
