Known for its Korean‑inspired breads, delicate pastries, and artfully crafted cakes, TOUS les JOURS operates flagship stores in Surabaya, Semarang, Yogyakarta, Bali, Makassar, and Medan. We are now seeking enthusiastic and skilled individuals to join us as Staff Kitchen Bakery & Pastry (Cook/Baker) at our Medan location.

Responsibilities
- Prepare, bake, and finish a wide range of breads, rolls, viennoiseries, and specialty pastries in accordance with TOUS les JOURS recipes and quality standards.
- Execute cake decoration projects, including tiered cakes, seasonal designs, and custom orders, ensuring visual appeal and structural integrity.
- Manage daily production schedules, coordinate ingredient preparation, and monitor oven and equipment performance to meet store demand.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, perform regular stock checks, and communicate material needs to the store manager.
- Adhere to strict food safety, hygiene, and sanitation protocols, conducting routine cleaning of workstations, tools, and storage areas.
- Collaborate closely with front‑of‑house staff to ensure timely delivery of fresh products and to handle special customer requests.
- Participate in product development meetings, offering ideas for new menu items and seasonal promotions.
- Document production yields and waste, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; SMK specialization in Culinary Arts, Food Production, or Patisserie is highly preferred.
- Age: 30 years or younger (maximum 32 years accepted for flexibility).
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- At least 1 year of professional experience as a baker or pastry cook, preferably within a high‑volume retail bakery.
- Demonstrated knowledge of bread dough fermentation, pastry lamination, and cake decorating techniques.
- Strong work ethic, honesty, and a sense of responsibility; ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, shift‑based environment.
- Completed COVID‑19 booster vaccination.
- Willingness to work early‑morning shifts (05:00 – 14:00, Tuesday through Sunday).
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; basic English is an advantage.
