Responsibilities
- Prepare all raw ingredients—including flour, sugar, yeast, and toppings—according to daily production schedules.
- Measure, mix, and knead dough following standardized recipes and SOPs to achieve consistent texture and flavor.
- Oversee the entire baking cycle: mixing, proofing, baking, and final finishing of breads and pastries.
- Apply appropriate fillings, toppings, and glazes to each product, ensuring visual appeal and taste accuracy.
- Monitor product quality throughout the process, checking for proper crust, crumb structure, and overall presentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment, adhering to local health and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular inventory checks of flour, sugar, butter, fillings, and other key supplies; report any shortages to the shift supervisor.
- Assist in packaging finished products for retail sale, ensuring proper labeling and packaging standards.
- Coordinate with sales staff to guarantee that daily production aligns with forecasted demand and promotional activities.
- Participate in periodic training sessions to stay current with new recipes, equipment upgrades, and industry best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in a bakery or similar food‑production environment.
