Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Barista Profesional – Penyaji Minuman Kopi Berkualitas to join our vibrant coffee shop team. The successful candidate will work six days a week, from Monday to Saturday, delivering expertly crafted beverages while upholding the highest standards of hygiene, service, and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of espresso‑based drinks, pour‑overs, cold brews, and specialty beverages according to standardized recipes.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work station, including regular equipment cleaning, grinder calibration, and inventory checks.
- Engage customers with friendly, attentive service, answer menu questions, and provide recommendations based on individual taste preferences.
- Handle cash transactions, operate POS systems, and ensure accurate order processing.
- Monitor stock levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other consumables; alert management to reorder needs.
- Assist in training new team members on drink preparation, safety protocols, and customer service standards.
- Uphold health and safety regulations, including proper food handling, personal hygiene, and emergency procedures.
- Contribute ideas for seasonal menu items, promotional events, and community outreach initiatives.
- Maintain an upbeat atmosphere, collaborating closely with fellow staff to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Gender: Male (as specified by the client).
- Age: Up to 30 years old.
- Experience: No prior barista experience required; willingness to learn and grow is essential.
- Physical fitness: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 20 kg, and perform repetitive motions.
- Core attributes: Honesty, strong work ethic, resilience, and a friendly demeanor.
- Communication: Excellent verbal skills in Bahasa Indonesia; ability to interact politely with diverse customers.
