We are expanding our outreach efforts in Surakarta and are looking for a dynamic Conservation Acquisition Representative (Fundraiser) to join our full‑time team. This role serves as the front‑line ambassador, raising public awareness and securing sustainable donations that fuel our conservation projects across the archipelago.
Responsibilities
- Engage directly with the public in high‑traffic areas, community events, and educational venues to explain YKAN’s conservation programs.
- Deliver clear, compelling presentations and one‑on‑one conversations that inspire donors to contribute on a recurring basis.
- Maintain a professional presence that adheres to YKAN’s ethical guidelines and local cultural norms.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with potential individual donors, corporate partners, and community leaders.
- Track and report daily outreach metrics, donation amounts, and follow‑up actions using the organization’s CRM system.
- Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to align messaging, develop promotional materials, and plan fundraising events.
- Provide feedback from the field to help refine campaign strategies and improve donor experience.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly fundraising targets while maintaining high standards of donor stewardship.
- Participate in regular training sessions on conservation topics, public speaking, and ethical fundraising practices.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 (associate or bachelor degree) in any discipline.
- At least 1 year of experience in fundraising, sales, public relations, or a related field.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to speak confidently in front of large groups.
- Demonstrated ability to build rapport quickly and engage diverse audiences.
- Results‑oriented mindset; persistence and resilience in meeting targets.
- Comfortable working flexible shifts, including morning and evening schedules, with a standard workday of 08:00‑17:00.
- Preferably resides in Surakarta or surrounding areas to minimize commute time.
