Responsibilities
- Prepare, verify, and dispense prescription medications, ensuring compliance with hospital protocols and national regulations.
- Conduct thorough medication counseling for in‑patients, explaining dosage, administration routes, potential side effects, and interactions.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals during ward rounds to optimize drug therapy plans.
- Maintain accurate patient medication records in the electronic health system, documenting any interventions or changes.
- Monitor inventory levels of pharmaceuticals, perform regular stock checks, and coordinate with the central pharmacy for timely replenishment.
- Participate in the preparation of intravenous admixtures, ensuring aseptic technique and proper labeling.
- Assist in the development and implementation of clinical pharmacy programs such as antimicrobial stewardship and medication reconciliation.
- Provide education and training to junior pharmacy staff, nursing personnel, and medical students on safe medication practices.
- Respond promptly to medication‑related queries from patients and staff, offering evidence‑based recommendations.
- Adhere to shift schedules, including night and weekend duties, to guarantee continuous pharmaceutical coverage.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Pharmacy.
- Active Surat Tanda Registrasi Apoteker (STRA) issued by the Indonesian Pharmacists Association.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in a hospital pharmacy setting; fresh graduates with strong internships are also encouraged to apply.
- Current domicile in Depok or willingness to relocate to the city.
- Strong ethical standards: honesty, accountability, and a patient‑centric attitude.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse clinical departments.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends (Monday – Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00).
- Proficiency in using pharmacy management software and basic computer applications.
- Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia; English proficiency is a plus for accessing international drug references.
