Introduction
We are seeking a motivated and diligent ARO / Field Collector to join our growing team in Bangkinang. This pivotal role supports our credit management operations by ensuring timely payments and maintaining strong relationships with our borrowers. The successful candidate will act as the frontline representative of the company, conducting on‑site visits, performing credit controls, and fostering a positive experience for our customers throughout the repayment cycle.
The position offers a structured work week from Monday to Saturday, with standard business hours of 08:00 – 17:00. Candidates must possess a valid motor vehicle and a Class C driver’s license to travel across the service area efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular field visits to borrowers to monitor credit repayment status and verify payment information.
- Perform collection activities, including phone calls, written notices, and in‑person negotiations, to recover outstanding balances.
- Maintain accurate records of all interactions, payments received, and any disputes or issues raised by customers.
- Coordinate with the central credit team to update account status, flag high‑risk accounts, and suggest appropriate remedial actions.
- Provide clear explanations of credit terms, repayment schedules, and any applicable penalties to borrowers.
- Identify opportunities for early settlement or restructuring and present viable options to both the customer and the finance department.
- Adhere to all relevant legal and regulatory requirements governing credit collection and consumer protection.
- Report daily activity metrics, such as collection rates, visit counts, and outstanding amounts, to the supervisor.
- Promote a professional and courteous image of the company, reinforcing trust and goodwill in the community.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Maximum age: 35 years.

- Prior experience in billing, collections, or related financial services is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong personal attributes: honesty, discipline, teamwork, and a dynamic, proactive attitude.
- Possession of a reliable motor vehicle and a valid SIM C (motorcycle) license.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of interacting with diverse customer groups.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances and regulatory updates.
- Basic understanding of credit law and the ability to apply it in day‑to‑day collection activities.
