Introduction
We are seeking a diligent and motivated Office Cleaning Officer (Petugas Kebersihan Kantor) to join our facilities management team. This full‑time position plays a critical role in maintaining a clean, safe, and pleasant environment for all employees and visitors. The successful candidate will work Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00, ensuring that every workspace, common area, and support facility meets the highest standards of hygiene and presentation.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning of office floors, carpets, desks, restrooms, and break areas using appropriate tools and chemicals.
- Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of air‑conditioning units, vents, and other mechanical equipment.
- Monitor waste disposal processes, ensuring timely collection, segregation, and recycling in accordance with company policies.
- Inspect workspaces regularly to identify and address any spills, stains, or maintenance issues before they affect employee comfort.
- Coordinate with the facilities team to report broken fixtures, supply shortages, or any safety hazards.
- Support special cleaning projects such as deep‑cleaning after events, seasonal deep‑cleaning, and post‑renovation cleanup.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and the use of personal protective equipment.
- Maintain an organized inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishment when stock runs low.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to employee requests for additional cleaning assistance.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMP/MTS or equivalent.
- Age between 22 and 28 years old (maximum 27 years as per original posting, extended to 28 for flexibility).
- Both male and female candidates are welcome.
- At least 1 year of prior experience in commercial or office cleaning.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills: friendly, honest, and quick in task execution.
- Passion for cleanliness, order, and visual appeal of work environments.
- Disciplined, hard‑working, and reliable attendance record.
- Basic knowledge of operating cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor scrubbers, and AC cleaning tools.
- Ability to follow written instructions and standard operating procedures.
