Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of coffee beverages, including espresso, cappuccino, latte, pour‑over, and cold brew, ensuring consistency and quality in every cup.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by regularly sanitizing equipment, countertops, and seating areas in accordance with health regulations.
- Operate and troubleshoot espresso machines, grinders, and brewing devices, performing routine maintenance and reporting any malfunctions to management.
- Engage with customers, taking orders accurately, offering recommendations, and answering questions about coffee origins, roast profiles, and brewing methods.
- Handle cash and electronic transactions efficiently, balancing the register at the end of each shift.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies; alert supervisors when re‑stocking is required.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service during peak hours, including preparation of pastries and light snacks.
- Participate in regular training sessions on new coffee trends, specialty drinks, and customer service best practices.
- Uphold the café’s brand image by maintaining a polished appearance and presenting a friendly, professional demeanor at all times.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Gender: Female (as specified), with a preference for candidates residing in Kota Wisata or surrounding areas.
- Age: Must be 30 years old or younger.
- At least 1 year of proven experience in a coffee‑focused environment, preferably as a Barista.
- Demonstrated barista skills, including espresso extraction, milk steaming, and latte art.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Strong attention to detail, especially regarding flavor balance, portion control, and presentation.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced setting, handling multiple orders simultaneously while maintaining accuracy.
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible to work the scheduled hours: Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00.
