Responsibilities
- Identify and prospect new potential borrowers in the Lemah Mekar area, presenting Amartha’s micro‑loan programs and explaining benefits clearly.
- Conduct on‑site economic assessments of household finances, helping families understand cash‑flow management and how a loan can improve their livelihoods.
- Perform detailed surveys and feasibility analyses on loan applications, ensuring compliance with Amartha’s underwriting policies, risk‑assessment frameworks, and regulatory standards.
- Prepare and submit accurate application documentation, coordinating with the back‑office team to streamline approval timelines.
- Manage the full collection cycle: send reminders, negotiate payment plans, and resolve disputes while maintaining respectful relationships with borrowers.
- Provide post‑disbursement support, monitoring repayment behavior and offering guidance on business development or financial literacy as needed.
- Report daily field activities, market insights, and any emerging risks to the regional manager, contributing to continuous improvement of field operations.
- Represent Amartha at local community events, workshops, and farmer’s markets to strengthen brand awareness and foster trust.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; higher education is a plus.
- Age between 18 and 30 years (maximum 33 years accepted for exceptional candidates).
- Both male and female applicants are welcome; female candidates are preferred.
- Own reliable motorized transportation to travel daily across the assigned territory.
- Strong personal integrity: honest, meticulous, communicative, resilient, and disciplined.
- Ability to work independently in the field, often without direct supervision.
- Basic digital literacy for using mobile data collection tools and Amartha’s internal CRM system.
- Prior experience in field sales, community outreach, or micro‑finance is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with diverse socioeconomic groups.
