Introduction
We are seeking a passionate and reliable Barista Profesional – Penyaji Minuman Kopi dan Teh to join our vibrant café team. As a front‑line ambassador, you will be responsible for crafting high‑quality espresso‑based beverages, teas, and specialty drinks while ensuring each guest experiences a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of coffee drinks, teas, and seasonal beverages following standardized recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, brewers, and other barista equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service counter, equipment, and dining area in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Engage with customers, take orders, provide product recommendations, and handle payment transactions accurately.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other consumables; report shortages and assist with stock replenishment.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food items that accompany beverage orders.
- Participate in daily opening and closing procedures, including cash reconciliation and equipment sanitization.
- Stay updated on new coffee trends, brewing techniques, and seasonal menu items to continuously improve service quality.
- Provide training and mentorship to new team members, fostering a supportive and cooperative work culture.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 6 months of experience in the F&B sector, preferably in a café or coffee shop setting.
- Demonstrated ability to produce consistent, high‑quality beverages with attention to detail.
- Professional appearance, courteous demeanor, and a positive attitude toward guests and colleagues.
- Strong teamwork skills, discipline, and a sense of responsibility.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and the ability to operate point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00–17:00, with occasional overtime during peak periods.
- Fluency in Indonesian; English proficiency is a plus for serving international guests.
- Passion for coffee culture, willingness to learn new brewing methods, and commitment to continuous improvement.
