Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of specialty coffee drinks, including espresso, pour‑over, cold brew, and latte art, while maintaining consistency and quality.
- Operate coffee equipment safely, perform routine cleaning, and conduct minor maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist in basic food preparation and cooking tasks when needed, supporting the kitchen staff with simple menu items.
- Accurately manage inventory by conducting regular stock opname, recording usage, and reporting discrepancies.
- Present products attractively, suggest pairings, and educate customers on flavor profiles and brewing methods.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate closely with teammates, communicate effectively during busy periods, and support a smooth workflow from order taking to delivery.
- Handle cash transactions, operate the POS system, and reconcile daily sales reports.
- Continuously seek opportunities for personal development, such as attending coffee workshops or learning new brewing techniques.
- Contribute ideas for menu enhancements, seasonal promotions, and customer engagement initiatives.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year proven experience as a barista or in a related food‑service role.
- High school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; additional certifications in coffee preparation are a plus.
- Strong basic coffee knowledge and the ability to operate espresso machines, grinders, and brewing devices.
- Attention to detail, especially in stock management and product presentation.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; must be a team player who understands and respects workflow dynamics.
- Willingness to learn new techniques, menu items, and service standards.
