Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Petugas Penagihan Lapangan (Field Collection Officer) to join our partner, Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI), a leading state‑owned bank (Bank BUMN) serving the Priangan Timur region. The position is based in Kota Banjar, Jawa Barat, and offers a dynamic environment where you will play a crucial role in managing and recovering non‑performing loan portfolios, supporting both the bank’s financial health and its customers’ path to credit restoration.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end‑to‑end recovery process for off‑balance‑sheet (ekstrakomtabel) loans, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
- Conduct thorough credit analyses and provide actionable recommendations to improve the health of distressed accounts.
- Prepare detailed reports on recovery performance, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities for portfolio improvement.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of recovery activities, adjusting strategies as needed to meet targets.
- Visit borrowers in the field to assess their financial situation, negotiate restructuring terms, and facilitate the resolution of problematic credits.
- Oversee the handling, valuation, and marketing of seized collateral (Agunan Yang Diambil Alih – AYDA) to maximize recovery value.
- Collaborate closely with internal credit, legal, and risk teams to ensure a coordinated approach to debt resolution.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all interactions, agreements, and payment schedules in the bank’s collection system.
- Provide timely feedback to management on emerging credit issues and propose preventive measures.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Male candidates only, age not exceeding 45 years.
- At least 1 year of experience in collection, finance, or a related field; preferably 3 years of hands‑on collection experience.
- Valid Indonesian driver’s license (SIM C) and ownership of a two‑wheel vehicle for field visits.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and propose viable solutions.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, capable of building trust with borrowers.
- Residing in or willing to relocate to the Priangan Timur area for optimal coverage.
- Proficiency in using collection software and Microsoft Office applications.
- High level of integrity, self‑motivation, and the ability to work independently under pressure.
