Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Account Officer – Problem Handling to join our dynamic team in Kajen, Central Java. This role is pivotal in managing the accounts receivable (A/R) overdue portfolio, ensuring timely collection of delinquent accounts aged 61‑120 days, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization. The successful candidate will work closely with clients, internal stakeholders, and senior management to drive collection performance while upholding the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor the full cycle of overdue account collections (A/R Overdue 61‑120 days), ensuring all actions are completed within stipulated timelines.
- Initiate contact with delinquent borrowers via phone, email, and in‑person visits to negotiate repayment plans and resolve disputes.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly collection reports, highlighting key metrics, risk exposures, and recovery forecasts.
- Collaborate with the credit assessment team to verify borrower information and assess repayment capacity.
- Maintain accurate records of all collection activities in the company’s ERP system, ensuring data integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Identify early warning signals of potential defaults and proactively recommend mitigation strategies to senior management.
- Assist in the development and refinement of collection policies, standard operating procedures, and best‑practice guidelines.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries with empathy while safeguarding the company’s financial interests.
- Participate in weekly team meetings and cross‑functional workshops to share insights and improve overall collection efficiency.
- Adhere to the company’s code of ethics, demonstrating honesty, diligence, and a strong sense of responsibility in all interactions.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum SMA/SMK or equivalent; D3/S1 in any discipline is preferred.
- Age: Maximum 30 years.
- Gender: Male (as specified by the client’s operational requirements).
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in credit monitoring, debt collection, or related finance functions; fresh graduates may be considered if they demonstrate strong analytical abilities.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in credit processing, debt recovery techniques, and familiarity with multi‑finance business processes.
- Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, strong negotiation tactics, high integrity, resilience, meticulous attention to detail, and honesty.
- Work Schedule: Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑16:00.
- Location: Placement based on the candidate’s domicile within the Kajen region.
